Welcome to the insight body – Self-care for Chronic Pain and Chronic Fatigue.
Hoping that this page will offer you more positive outlook, wellbeing, creative ideas and effective ways of how to meet and deal with chronic pain and fatigue in your live.
My name is Rabea and I am a Yin Yoga/ Qi Gong teacher & CAM Practitioner (Classical Homeopathy and Herbalism) and I would like to support you on your path of feeling well and comfortable in your body again.
Yin Yoga is a wonderful way of stretching and strengthening the body’s connective tissue, the fascia. It offers our joints a deep process of getting nurtured well, which therefore brings new flexibility into our movement. And furthermore it deeply relaxes the parasympathetic nervous system which plays a significant role in emotional and physical healing and wellbeing.
Qigong, an old ancient Chinese way of working with the meridians (the body’s energy lines), on the other hand helps us through subtle movement and deep breathing to calm the mind, circulate blood and lymph liquid and support the organs function.
In my work as a teacher and therapist I also integrate effective approaches like Somatic Experiencing by Peter Levine, The Polyvagal Theory by Stephen Porges, Non Violent Communication by Marshal B. Rosenberg, Radical Honesty by Brad Blanton, the Inner Child work by John Bradshaw or Dr. Magaret Paul or Fritz Perls‘ Gestalt Therapy to help the mind’s and body’s awareness to overcome emotional and physical difficulties in life.
All these approaches are amazing tools for people who suffer from Chronic Pain and Chronic Fatigue because mindful movements and a gentle and compassionate insight in yourself and your body can mobilize an immense power and shift of your present state.
I love seeing those happy and relaxed faces at the end of the session or yoga class when people are coming out of their final relaxation and having experienced a moment of peace and rest.
That’s why I would like to share those tools with you, which benefitted a number of people, me included, in feeling at home in our body again.
Sending you warm rays of sunshine and a big smile over.
May you find a companion on your way of wellbeing.
